There is no place more awe inspiring than Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park, and because of this it is sure to help make your wedding day something to remember!

HISTORY OF MALIGNE LAKE Maligne Lake is a picturesque glacial-fed lake located right here in Jasper National Park. The lake is surrounded by stunning mountain ranges and is one of the largest and most popular lakes in the Canadian Rockies. The history of Maligne Lake dates back to over 10,000 years ago when the area was first inhabited by indigenous peoples, including the Stoney Nakoda, Blackfoot, and Ktunaxa nations. In the late 1800s, European explorers and traders began to discover the area and established trading posts along the Athabasca River. By the early 1900s, tourism in Jasper National Park was on the rise, and Maligne Lake became a popular destination for visitors.

RECEPTION AND CEREMONY SPACES Pursuit offers an exclusive lakeside location for your wedding ceremony with the capacity for 60 guests as well. They also offer a historical and rustic location for your reception afterwards! Lastly, to top off your special day, you can catch a private boat tour that will take you to Spirit Island to help celebrate and capture some incredible photos.
