FAQs

How long until my photos are edited?

For weddings I take 90 days to edit your photos, giving me time to meticulously go through the images and edit them perfectly. However, I do deliver a “Sneak Peek” with a handful of important moments from your big day so that you can use them to post online to show your family and friends. This is done as soon as possible right after your wedding.

For my other sessions it simply depends on what package you have selected. Typically though it is usually around 2-3 weeks.

Do you give RAW unedited images?

No. I believe that when you select me as your photographer you like my unique style, which includes how I edit my images. I promise that I will never leave out any photos that are important to you!

What do we wear for photos?

No worries there! I have a handy dandy what to wear guide for you when you book your session.

How will my photos be delivered?

If you have selected a package that includes a folio box and prints, they will be delivered to your door! Any images for online use will be delivered to you by email.

Can you Photoshop me?

I believe in promoting self love and body positivity, so I don’t alter the way you look aside from slight retouching; this typically includes removing acne or using a softening brush on scars or wrinkles. If you are particularly self conscious about something, please let me know in advance and I’ll be sure to pose you accordingly.

Do you work with LGBTQ couples?

Of course! I’m here to help celebrate and capture all love stories, no matter what!

How many people at a wedding is considered an elopement?

25 people and under, including the bride and groom. This is what Parks Canada considers an elopement and how many guests are allowed to operate as such.

FAQs

What is the payment schedule like?

I require 30% non refundable retainer to secure your spot on my calendar, and the remaining 70% is due 30 days in advance for weddings, and the day of for shoots. You can split these payments (up to 3 payments) if you’d like to help make it more affordable.

What if there is crummy weather?

I try to embrace whatever comes our way on the day of our shoot. Typically, supremely sunny days make for the harshest light, so when the weather is moody it makes for beautiful photos. Make sure to bring what you need to stay comfortable in all weather scenarios, but I usually have umbrellas handy too if needed. If the weather is completely outrageous we can look into rescheduling on a day that works for both of us.

What happens if we need to reschedule our wedding or our shoot?

If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date.

Do you photograph families?

Although I try to focus on couples in particular with my sessions nowadays, I have photographed many families in the past. If this is something that interests you, just let me know. I’m open to chatting more about it.
