As a professional photographer based in Jasper National Park, I have been fortunate enough to witness and capture some of the most breathtaking scenes in the world. With endless opportunities for adventure and exploration, Jasper is a nature photographer's paradise. From hiking to canoeing, soaking in hot springs to camping, there is never a dull moment in Jasper.

If you're looking to create your own Jasper adventure, here are 34 bucket list items to consider. (Click the links for more info!)

  1. Hike to the top of Morro Peak: A strenuous hike, but the reward at the top is worth it. The 360-degree views from the summit are truly awe-inspiring.

  2. Canoe on Pyramid Lake: One of the most iconic locations in Jasper, Pyramid Lake is surrounded by towering mountains and is an ideal spot for a peaceful paddle.

  3. Soak in Miette Hot Springs: Relax and rejuvenate in the warm waters of the Hot Springs. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Jasper, this is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring.

  4. Mountain bike the Overlander Trail: Explore Jasper's rugged terrain on two wheels by mountain biking the Overlander trail. This intermediate trail offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

  5. Hike to Edith Cavell Meadows: A moderate hike that leads to a stunning alpine meadow, this is a must-see for anyone visiting Jasper.

14. Learn about the area's history: Immerse yourself in Jasper's rich history by visiting the Jasper-Yellowhead Museum and Archives. With exhibits and artifacts from the area's past, this is a great way to learn more about the park's unique heritage.

23. Hike Parker Ridge: On the border of Jasper and Banff, this short but stunning hike offers panoramic views of the Saskatchewan Glacier and the surrounding mountains.
